Freedom Bag is a product company that sells a number of travel and accessory bags exclusively online through a webstore. The company has a long and successful 30-year history of selling bags through home shopping channels and retail outlets, but in recent years has struggled to gain an online presence and thrive in the digital world. They were seeking ways to gain new customers through social media and advertising and increase sales through email marketing.
ClickSpring created a social media marketing strategy to increase fans, brand and product awareness, and ultimately, sales. For email marketing, we created several campaigns to drive sales on their eCommerce site. We used Facebook and email together to execute seamless messaging about sales, exclusive coupon codes, and other shopping opportunities.
In 3 months, we grew their Facebook audience from 100 fans to over 1,000 shoppers, generating a much larger audience to reach and turn into customers. The new email campaigns have had a high open and click through rate compared to industry standards. Each email blast has generated a spike in sales the moment it was sent out and product sales are on the rebound leading to much-improved revenue growth.
