Napa Technology, a Silicon Valley wine technology company, was seeking to launch a new consumer product for home wine preservation and dispensing into the market. Their unique Genesis wine machine is the only product capable of preserving and dispensing both still and sparkling wines. They needed to design and build a webstore and launch this product to the world for the first time with a major marketing and advertising campaign.
ClickSpring designed and built a webstore for the Genesis line of products on the Shopify eCommerce platform. We optimized their webstore for SEO best practices and launched a keyword targeted pay-per-click (PPC) ad campaign with components for search ads, display advertising, and product listing ads found on Google Shopping. We created a series of customer engagement emails for new customers, order confirmations, shipping notifications, and other purchase related events. In addition, we created an email automation program for recapturing customers who abandoned their carts and did not complete their purchase.
Within 3 months of starting work, ClickSpring designed, developed, and launched a webstore to sell the Genesis wine machine by Napa Technology. PPC ads are currently driving the most traffic and sales, with a low cost per click compared to industry standards, from any traffic source. Organic search is a strong secondary source of traffic and continues to grow each month. Within their second month of online product sales, after launching a PPC campaign and holiday related PR efforts, Napa Technology sold 100+ Genesis machines with a total of over $45k in gross sales purely from their webstore.
